Problem

The site you are reading. Vorluno's promise is that the impressive part and the rigorous part are the same thing — so the agency's own site had to be both: cinematic, and measured.

Built

A cinematic opening measured against its reference to the millisecond; a stack of real work where the scroll is the rotation; a tunnel in Z where the statement's letters are rasterized to textures and drawn in WebGL2 with water under the cursor; a lateral camera through five rooms with real parallax. Next 16, React 19, Tailwind 4, no animation library.

Every piece runs under the same discipline: no writes when idle, reduced-motion states, accessibility checked with axe, and a spec that carries durations, curves and gates.

Measured

60 fps in the stack, the tunnel and the rooms (real GPU); 350 ms cursor latency; CLS 0; Lighthouse performance 78 on mobile with an LCP of 4.3 s that is a design decision — the opening holds the content until the title appears.

  • 60 fps Frame rate (stack, tunnel, rooms)
  • 350 ms Cursor latency
  • 0 CLS
  • 78 Lighthouse performance (mobile)
